From Local Farms to Your Table: An Introduction to Community-Supported Agriculture

From the November 19 meeting of Citizens for a Sustainable Local Economy. Carole Rossi of Crystal Spring Earth Learning Center in Plainville explained how the Center serves as a distribution point for the Heirloom Harvest Community Farm CSA. Bob Galipeau explained plans to start a CSA at his farm in Bellingham. Terri Lawton spoke about her dairy farm in Foxboro, which sells raw milk, cheese, eggs, and grass-fed beef. And Ellen Farmer spoke about her efforts to start a community farm in North Attleboro.
