A group of very committed people are working feverishly on plans for a local observance of Climate Action Day in the Attleboro area on Saturday, October 24.
There are many ways you can get involved, from asking your church to ring its bells on that day, to helping with logistics, to writing a letter to the editor of yo

Thomas Berry, theologian and environmentalist, dies at age 94

Thomas Berry, author of "The Dream of the Earth" and other inspirational writings, died on Monday in Greensboro, North Carolina, at the age of 94. I had the opportunity to hear him speak at the 23rd Annual E. F. Schumacher Lecture in Great Barrington, MA, in 2003.

Berry's reverence for the Earth was truly inspiring. In his work, he promoted an ecumenical spirit that transcended any particular religious faith and evoked an awe for all Creation.

Hi Charlie,
The property is in North Attleboro. It was some time ago that I put something out there. I am assuming you are talking about my property. I have about five acres that is pretty much covered with horses right now. I don't know how to be brief about this cause my mind has been working on this for quite some time. I am so glad I found your group through the green reel series. I hope to meet others interested in this but I have been so busy with the rest of my life. I was on the board of health in North for three years and was actually introduced to sustainable building there. My dream is to build a complete sustainable subdivision. I have so much in my head and made lots of great contacts on the board. I know the best engineer for the project and the most incredible 80 acre property for this. But alas it seems to bit to start with. So my property can be a smaller version.
