2012 Green Reel Film Series Starts in Attleboro on January 8

The Green Reel Collaborative will kick off its fourth annual film series on January 8.  As in previous years, the films will be shown on Sundays at 7:00 pm at Congregation Agudas Achim, 901 North Main Street, Attleboro.  (From Route 95, take Exit 5 to Route 152.  Turn north on Route 152 and take an immediate left.)  This year the series will run for six consecutive Sundays. Admission is free.

The Ten Mile River Watershed: A Walk Through Time

Don Doucette recently delivered a slide presentation on the history, geography, and natural features of the Ten Mile River Watershed at the annual meeting of the Attleboro Land Trust. Don's presentation included many old postcards with views of the watershed dating back to the early twentieth century. The local cable provider AACS recorded Don's presentation and it can be viewed here.
